When We Play

We play every Tuesday night at 8:30 PM MST/MDT. For our players in Utah, the time is always 8:30 PM. For the Arizona players, the time changes between 7:30 PM and 8:30 PM. We usually finish playing at 10:30 PM.

We will not play on the following dates in 2007:
December 25 - Christmas Day

Where We Play

The Neverwinter Nights server and Teamspeak server are both located at nwn.hawkgames.com. The passwords are provided to those who are invited to play.

Who Can Play

If you want to play, you must contact either a current player or Hawk. To avoid extra spam, you'll have to guess the domain name of Hawk's email address. Include your name and phone number in the email, and Hawk will give you a call.

Players should check with Hawk before adding new players to the group; however, it's unlikely anyone will be turned away.

Campaign Info

In Hawk's campaigns, there is a simple formula for calculating proper titles. Each city is counted as 1 to 4 land points, depending on size and population. Most cities are worth 1 land point. A noble has not only his own land points, but all the land points of the nobles who have sworn fealty to him. For example, if a count (2) swears fealty to a duke (4), the duke adds grand duke (6) to his titles. A single noble could be a king, prince, and grand duke, or any other combination of titles depending on how his vassal nobles are organized.

A kingdom (or any other domain) could consist of any combination of nobles as long as the land points requirement is met. For example, 16 barons could unite themselves into a kingdom.

Nobles can pledge fealty to an individual, a position, or an organization. The way in which nobles pledge fealty determines the structure of the government. Fealty to an individual grants control to that individual. Fealty to a position is the same as an individual; however, the pledge passes the the individual's heirs. Fealty to an organization gives the noble a vote in the organization and grants control to the majority of that organization. For example, the 16 barons, mentioned above, could create a 16-member council to rule the kingdom and agree to abide by the will of 9 barons.
